The OpenDigCompEdu project- part of Digital transformation International Workshop, 1st edition - Experiences in digital education
The event was organized by the Politehnica University of Timișoara, with this year's topic - Experiences in digital education.
During the workshop, several initiatives, educational and innovation plans by European universities, and the digital education platforms were presented, as well as the Erasmus + OpenDigCompEdu objectives, including the growing awareness among the many European Member States that educators need a set of digital competences specific to their profession in order to be able to seize the potential of digital technologies for enhancing and innovating education.
The first edition of the international workshop dedicated to experiences in digital education was organized hybrid in the UPT Conference Center and broadcasted live, simultaneously on Zoom and Facebook, gathering over 300 participants, including researchers, higher education and K12 teachers, as well as students and the general public.
